Randolph School

Building Community: Capital Campaign

Over the past 65 years, both Huntsville and Randolph School have undergone remarkable growth and change. As Huntsville has become a hub for 21st-century industries, Randolph has thrived alongside it. Since opening our doors in 1959,  Randolph has been the educational leader in our community, providing a nurturing environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, personal growth, and excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics.

The Building Community Campaign is not merely about constructing buildings to accommodate our students; it’s about building a better future for Huntsville, nurturing the next generation of leaders who will shape our community.

Land Acquisition

The School has acquired an additional 26 acres of contiguous, buildable land, expanding our beautiful 51-acre Garth Road campus. This strategic move aligns with Randolph's mission to provide a rigorous and well-rounded college preparatory education within a nurturing community.

The additional land presents the opportunity to reunite our two campuses, creating a unified, cohesive environment that enhances the sense of community and belonging among students, faculty, parents, grandparents, alumni, and the greater Huntsville community. Since its founding, Randolph School has cherished the vision of a unified campus, a place where every student, from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, can grow and learn together.

Investing in additional land today ensures that future generations of students will benefit from a dynamic, conducive learning environment. This acquisition is part of the School’s long-term strategic plan, and we extend thanks to the Jones, Lowe, and Blue families who made this purchase possible. All community members are invited to join us on this exciting journey as we launch this transformative phase. Randolph School's impact extends far beyond its campus, shaping the future of Huntsville and beyond.

We have many more exciting updates to announce soon, highlighting our commitment to innovation and excellence in education. Your support plays a crucial role in realizing these ambitions. 4. An Innovation Hub and Technology Lab to elevate our STEM program.

We are so thankful to our lead donors, Fay & Karl Leo, for their significant commitment and dedication to Randolph School. Watch the video below to learn more and feel the inspiration.

How We Got Here

The Building Community campaign is guided by our top three priorities in the strategic plan:

  • One Randolph— strengthen our community of belonging and support.
  • Prepare for More—prepare, support, and inspire students through life-changing student experiences.
  • Build for the Future—enhance our learning environment to support student needs for current and future generations.

"I think many of our current and past Randolph families might also have the desire to give back to the Randolph community, so we want to encourage and to challenge them to also give generously for this new campus plan... because it is very exciting, and will continue to grow this wonderful school."

FAY LEO, CURRENT & ALUMNI PARENT

"When you talk about generations and you look at great institutions, how they started and where they are today, it’s taken 10, 20, 30, 100 years... and that’s our hope for Randolph, that this gift will help to create that generation of momentum going into the future."

KARL LEO, CURRENT & ALUMNI PARENT

"We are thrilled and honored by the Leo’s generosity. Their contribution will enable us to continue our commitment to providing excellence in academics, the arts and athletics, as well as granting our students unparalleled opportunities for personal growth and achievement."

ADAM DUBÉ, HEAD OF SCHOOL

"At this point in time, we've unfortunately outgrown our current space. I'm super excited for this new planned facility, and for the unlimited potential that it will bring."
