The prekindergarten school day is from 8:00am – 2:30pm with daily recess, physical education, lunch, and rest time. On Wednesdays, the school day starts at 9:20am and before-care is open to students beginning at 7:30am. After-care until 5:30pm will also be available at an additional cost. Specialist classes will take place on a rotating basis.

Yes, Randolph School requires uniforms for all Pre-K - 8 students. Dress codes are meant to create safe, positive learning environments in schools. Setting expectations for dress helps promote a sense of unity, sets a tone for a more serious learning environment, and ultimately helps to encourage positive behavior. The Randolph dress code is designed to be inclusive yet allow room for personal choice and expression.

Our Pre-K facilities are constructed in a gated area on the Drake campus and fully integrated into our School’s current electromagnetic lock security system.

Pre-K students will be required to meet the same academic, social, and emotional development requirements as all applicants, which includes a kindergarten readiness assessment.
